Communitas Forums
The purpose of these forums is to establish and sustain a conversation amongst executives and strategic leaders that highlight experts on servant leadership, strengths based approach to management, and other significant approaches to leadership in the context of organizations.
Pittsburgh Servant Leaders (PSL)
PSL meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at PNC park to offer leaders from all spheres to a place to gather, learn and connect. We are deeply committed to equipping, connecting and mobilizing followers of Jesus to innovate and renovate society and culture in accordance with Biblical principles…so that as the leaders we serve become part of a movement to be the agents of transformation in our culture.
2009 PSL focus is on "Influence and Culture Making." By asking the question, "What does it mean to be an agent of Shalom in our spheres of influence?" we are thoughtfully exploring what the role of the Christian is in today's culture and what is the role of the church?
Past Forums
Here are some of the Communitas Forums we facilitated in the past.
Lead Like Jesus
Lead Like Jesus brought subject matter experts on management and leadership such as Bill Pollard and Ken Blanchard to the Pittsburgh region to lead us in a conversation around how we might be better leaders.
Congress on Cultural Transformation
The Congress on Cultural Transformation gathered leaders from all sectors to hear from Dr. Raymond Bakke on the role of the church in transforming cities and to be challenged to think differently about who the church is and how it needs to function in this age.
