History
ServingLeaders is a proud partner of Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation which was inspired by Sam Shoemaker whose 1950's vision that,
"one day Pittsburgh will be more famous for God than for steel."
Founded in 1978 by Reid Carpenter, PLF's mission is to "raise up Christ centered leaders" who work for the transformation of the culture of Pittsburgh.
30 Innovations in 30 Years
Over these 30 years, PLF has inspired and equipped leaders to exercise their influence in service to God's intention that cities be places where human beings flourish. Hundreds of initiatives, large and small, have been birthed out of PLF's leadership.
